Teaching Chinese to German Speaking Learners

In order to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Peking University, Confucius Institute at Free University of Berlin will hold a workshop on Teaching Chinese to German Speaking Learners on June 16 th , 2018. The Panel topics will cover the second language acquisition, teaching of Chinese language elements (such as grammar, Chinese characters, etc.), teaching of language skills (such as reading, writing etc.), Chinese language teaching at different levels or stages, different teaching methods and models (such as immersion program , contrastive teaching) among others. Panelists of the workshop are professors and experts from Peking University, Free University of Berlin, and other German Universities, German high schools and educational institutions, as well as other Confucius Institutes in Germany. Participants will have a chance to conduct in-depth discussions on other issues of teaching Chinese as a second/foreign language in Germany.
